Black magic is more commonly prevalent even in this time and age than we would like to believe. Unless and until we ourselves become victims to it, it is very easy to dismiss black magic as just a figment of someone’s imagination.
All ancient cultures and religions speak about black magic and hexes. When jealousy and ill will predominate in any situation, some people turn to black magic to destroy their opponents or even totally innocent people. These negative energies are so powerful that at times, it is almost impossible to overcome them. So ordinary people, even though they may be spiritual to some extent, do not even realize that they are under the impact of such dark forces. It takes highly spiritual and enlightened human beings, like gurujis to identify the true cause behind someone’s sufferings. In order to break such black magic, we need to seek the help of an advanced and experienced godmen. But these days, we find more fraudulent Swamijis than authentic ones.
Even among the Gods, not all of them are equally powerful against Black magic. Lord Hanuman is said to be the most powerful of Gods or demi-gods, who has the immense power to destroy all forms of negative forces and evil spirits. There are several forms of evil spirits like bhootha, predha, pisacha, shakini, dakini etc. None of these evil spirits can stand up to Hanumanji. Lord Hanuman, in His most ferocious form, destroys and annihilates all forms of evil.
While it is good to love everyone and consider all human beings as our friends and brothers, there are certain beings on this earth (though this may be hard to believe for some of you, please keep an open mind and continue reading) in the guise of human beings. Even though in outward appearances, they may resemble a human, in reality, they are not. Psychopaths, sociopaths, and serial killers come under this category. No amount of love or goodwill can bring out anything good in them. Since we cannot easily identify such beings, how can we protect ourselves from them?
Ekadashamukhi Hanuman is said to have eleven faces, protecting his devotees from eleven different directions. This “Ekadashamukhi Hanuman Kavacham” is a spiritual armour that we can wear in order to protect ourselves from our enemies. The following version is found in the secret Sanskrit text called Rudrayamala and forms a part of a conversation between Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, where Shiva Himself advocates the chanting of this kavach. The following version has been sung and recorded by Marepalli Sri Nagavenkata Sastry Garu. It is a great service to mankind that Sastry Garu has rendered this divine mantra and offered it free for all of us to use.
IMPORTANT: Please abstain from meat, alcohol, drugs, and sex while chanting or listening to this Hanuman kavacham. Also, please observe cleanliness in yourself and your environment.
